Selling out tax payers to Wake Forest

To All Those Concerned:

The City of Winston Finance Committee is proposing to sell ( or have manage) the Joel Coliseum to Wake Forest.
Tax payers voted and invested over 42 million into the coliseum yet the city is once again giving public property to a private non profit taking more money off the tax rolls for us to supplement without our vote
To make this a palatable effort, they are also looking to sell Bowman Gray Stadium to WSSU ( I sent you info about this last year).

We must contact members on the Finance Committee before this leaves the committee and goes to the full city council.
More info is forth coming but we must act now!!! Do not sit on this and bicker later.
Let them know who you are and let them know you are a voting citizen and let them know that as you were dissatisfied with the selling of Ernie Shore Field, you are equally dissatisfied with them again selling public property paid for with tax dollars, voted on by the citizens, to private non profits with no vote from the citizens.

Remember we are the leaders we are looking for.
