The African American Caucus of the Forsyth County Democratic Party is encouraging its membership to write letters to Joan Cardwell, Chairman of the Forsyth County Board of Elections to recommend the hiring of Claire Wallace as the new Director. The two Democratic Members of the Board, Mrs. Cardwell and Mr. Elliott’s mailing addresses are listed below.

Under the old Administration, African Americans were challenged and disrespected in an attempt to discourage voter turnout in the Black Communities. African Americans have had to beg for additional Early Voting Sites in our communities. We were never quite sure our votes were being properly counted. Because of these reasons, we support the hiring of Ms. Wallace to bring integrity to the voting process.
